Hawaii Vacation Story

Latest Casino News 17 Jun , 2019 0

This past October was the second time this year that my wife and I were on the north shore of Hawaii for a Vacation. This place has captivated us so much and we have fallen in love that we are planning on moving to the north shore within the next 5 yrs.

The country life is such a quite and laid back lifestyle and we want to be a part of that world. Being That I am native American and we are similar to the native Hawaiian's, we believe in the HUGE family way of life and this is one of the big things that draws us to Oahu.

I grew up in the outskirts of California's rugged San Diego coast line. I had my mother and my sister and thats it but because of the close knit community I lived in the whole town was my family. After High school I had moved away from my hometown in search of a college education at St. Pauls in Minnesota, I studied international business and wanted to become a business consultant in the airline industry for business and tourism around the world.

It happened by chance in 1994 that I worked for Continental airlines and was able to get a free trip out to the islands for a hawaii vacation. I toured the island of Oahu in my little rent a car and drove around to the north shore. I actually stayed a few nights in the Bali Ho rental home near Haleiwa town. It was then that I knew I wanted to come back and live on the north shore of Hawaii. I wanted my wife to feel that we can live out there rather then just take a vacation.

Out here in the islands it seems like you are just part of one big family. It's just like the Native American lifestyle and were ever you go everyone is your uncle, aunty, or cousin. That means a lot to us. We will be back in May for a much needed re-grouping of the mind and body, see you in May!
