Do you get worried that you are repeatedly losing money at poker? Well you are probably making one of these Texas Holdem mistakes, which basically make you lose.

Texas Holdem is easy once you know how. The funny thing is that it truly is quite difficult to win. As in win win. But it is very very easy to not lose. And most players just want to not lose. Because when you don't lose you generally make quite a bit of many anyway. You know what I mean right?

Not everyone will win millions at the WPT, but most don't even need that. You can make 1000's by just 'not losing'. So first please focus on just not losing, and then think about taking it up a notch.

So, to not lose generally all we have to do is avoid making massive Texas Holdem mistakes. If we just play solid we are generally pretty resilient.

Texas Holdem Mistakes That Make You Lose # 1

Telegraphing the strength of your hand is a very bad Texas Holdem mistake to make. This will definitely make you lose because your opponents will change their play based on what they know you have.

You may be telegraphing you hand in many ways. It could be how you sit, your eyes, how you bet, how much you bet, how you change you bets, only playing in a certain way, only playing certain cards, etc.

The next big mistake to make is underbetting the pot. When you underbet the pot your give your opponents a free chance to a win. You don't want to do that.

By betting enough every time you will effectively negate your opponents from calling with draws because it isn't worth their investment. Just by avoiding this one mistake you can avoid massive bad beats and terribly losses.

Texas Holdem Mistakes That Make You Lose # 3

A very bad Texas Holdem mistake to make is overvaluing a simple pair. A pair is a pair is a pair. Even if it is a pair of aces or a pair of kings, it's still a pair.

The average winning hand in Holdem is a two-pair. Last time I checked a two-pair beat a pair. Don't be the wrong side of the average, don't overvalue a pair.

You might become aware of some times you made one of these mistakes and how it cost you the game, or cash, or a loss. Now, you are probably wondering that there are more Texas Holdem mistakes that you may be making but you don't know about them. Well, you are right.

The thing is, there are heaps of these mistakes. Far too many for me to get in here. If you avoid most or all of them you will effectively prevent yourself from losing. And remember, 'not losing' is winning, and can win you a lot of money. So please, get curious right now, get into a mood for action and learning and getting new information and go out and get some new info on some other Texas Holdem mistakes you may be making.
