How to Play the Popular Game of Bingo

Who has not played a game of bingo before? This is a very old and simple number game that many people play in kindergarten to start learning their numbers. If you have never played bingo before, you are missing out. It is great fun and very easy to learn. There is no skill or strategy required to play bingo, all you need to do is be able to identify numbers.

The bingo player is first given a bingo card. A player can have as many cards as he or she wants. Obviously the more cards you have, the more likely it is that you will win. Across the top of the card are the letter B - I - N - G - O. Underneath those letters are a series of numbers. To start the game a rotating bin with numbers in it is spun and one number / letter is called out, for example N32 may be called. If you have that number in the appropriate letter column then you can mark off that number. You win when you have five numbers marked off in a row, column, or diagonal. You then call out "bingo" to signify that you have won.

After your card has been verified that you really do have a bingo, then a new game begins.

Bingo is a very fun, simple, and easy game to pick up on. It requires virtually no skill; all you need to be able to do is identify numbers as they are selected. Then, make sure that you are the first one to call out, "BINGO"!
