Behind the Las Vegas Strip Club

I've had the unique opportunity since moving to Las Vegas to work directly and indirectly with several of the Las Vegas strip clubs, or as the locals call "the Industry".

Visitors here enjoy the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and all that it has to offer. They also, much to my surprise use extremely overpriced cabs rides to get away from the strip, to save a dollar and fifteen cents by going to a local CVS pharmacy.

Every Strip Club in Vegas is a show. Just like every show on Broadway in NY or in the extravagant casino showrooms, the strip clubs have drama, emotions, back stabbing fights for the best time stage and time slot all in the hope of being discovered by an admiring wealthy or conservative fan.

'The Industry' in Las Vegas has two groups, Topless and Nude.

1. Topless club establishments must keep below the waist private areas out of public view and strategically placed stars adorn the northern hemisphere of the female entertainers. Other than the beautiful world-famous dancers Vegas clubs have to offer, an obvious upside to choosing clubs in the topless group include on site slot machines, gaming and alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol served by beautiful women at prices that surpass most car payments.
2. Nude clubs is where the "What you see is what you get" phrase was born, or at least the paying public is given every opportunity to fantasize about it while a dancer grinds laps and empties wallets. Sorry boys, no alcohol is available or served in any full nude establishment in Clark County except the Palomino Club, there was a grandfather clause saved this little gem.

Resting her hand on your leg just about an inch above the knee, or softly touching the inside of your bicep or perhaps slowly gliding her finger nail along the backside of your ear are just a few of the simple tricks shared by girls who work at all the strip clubs.

The girls goals here is simple, make you comfortable and take your money.

A common opening line may be "where have you been all my life". You may hear her say she's been waiting all night for someone like you to get here. Or one of my favorites lines would be "Thank you for saving me from the guys at that other table, I wish more of the men who come in here were more like you."

The truth, there's really not that much behind the strip club scene. Strip clubs in Vegas are probably the most upfront straightforward business is in the state. The girls provided the service of a fantasy. The club provides low lighting. The men bring the money that keeps Las Vegas alive.
