Cyndy Violette, the vivacious forty-something poker star, is quickly becoming my favorite poker player. I think she is the prototype for all up and coming poker players.

At almost any online chat room, when the question of who is the "hottest" female poker player surfaces; Ms. Shepherd Violette's is quickly nominated. And yes, she is certainly "hot". With her shapely figure, beautiful blonde locks, and charming smile, Cyndy has surely got it going on.

But there is much more to poker pro Cyndy Violette than just her physical charms. Just beneath that appealing exterior lies the heart and mind of a champion. Cyndy Violette has been beating the big boys and earning a very comfortable living at the poker tables for many years now. Her many accomplishments include a World Series of Poker Championship as well as many other major tournament wins and cash finishes.

Cyndy has accomplished much in the big money poker tournaments, but her real strength is in the ring games. She is a fixture at

During the week, she spends her time in quite suburbia twenty minutes away from the hustle and bustle of casino life. Cyndy believes in keeping her life in balance. To this end she regularly practices yoga and eats only natural foods. She even takes her specially prepared meal with her when she goes to play poker.

All poker players constantly are looking for an edge while at the tables. Through her well thought out lifestyle, Cyndy Violette gains an edge over most players before she is even dealt in. As if the beer swilling tourists at Atlantic City's poker tables didn't have enough to overcome, they now might find themselves sitting across from a well rested and centered Cyndy Violette!
