Latest Casino News 30 Aug , 2019 0

Players that are very experienced with poker can find the game of limit Texas hold'em a little bit misleading. Almost these players there is a rumor that seems to be put into practice by more and more persons every day and this popular rumor says that when you are in such a game with low limits like $ 2- $ 4, $ 3- $ 6 you should basically do nothing and just call and check the whole way our of the hand. This is a mistake that many times leads experienced or advanced players into confusion and they tend to play very loose themselves and you can hardly find a player out there that is aggressive. No strong attacks when the cards ask for them, no risks, just leaving the cards to the odds. Because this is the current situation online, to stand more chances to win your game style should be the opposite of what you see. You should play tight and aggressive and attack when you need to if you are in an intermediate or expert poker room.

First select a table that indicates the game is loose. Look for 40% or up when reading the percentage f players who go in the flop on average. If you get into an aggressive game you might find better players that will tell all your moves and end up taking your money, so avoid them. Start the game by carefully selecting you hands. Play only the ones with better chances and don't let yourself play over 20%, 25% tops of your starting hands. Also, make sure you are holding a good kicker next to the other important cards you have in your hand.

Before deciding what to do with a hand, try to accommodate yourself with the evaluation of all the hands in the game. They all count if you want to properly see the winning chances and the value of the hand you are currently holding. If you manage to make this habit, you will have to constantly use it and as the game moves on and more information gets revealed you will have to update you evaluation and see if anything has changed.

Remember the playing style of your opponents and ask yourself frequent questions in order to try and understand the way they play. See what they do and then try to imagine yourself in their position whether they are raising, checking, folding or calling. Ask yourself why you would fold or raise if you were them and the answer will help understanding the game as a whole.

Play the hands that you think are surely winning hands aggressively. Bet, raise and don't just call or check. This is a game that leaves plenty of space for aggressiveness and often invites it so take advantage of the game. If you are in late position, you can commit an attempt to take the pot earlier. If your observations lead to the conclusion that no one has a good hand then bet or raise when in late position and it might just get you the pot.

Play limit Texas hold'em as variable as possible. It is easy for experienced players to tell your game and this is why you should occasionally try and change the game style. Flip from aggressive to loose whenever you get the chance.
