The first thing that you should understand is that having goals and reaching them is very important for your self-esteem and your success in anything in life.

In this article, I will show you how you can start reaching any goal, much faster and with less effort.

Get Clear About What You Want.

Most tennis players never ask themselves this simple question,

"That is the first question that you need to ask yourself when you start playing this game, because when you get clear on your why, it is going to be easy to define it to your subconscious mind and then reach your tennis goals."

Write Them Down.

I read somewhere that, "Only 20% of tennis juniors write down their goals everyday, well, I can tell you this, if you are not writing them down on a daily basis, you will not be thinking about them enough and you will allow distractions to prevent you from reaching them.

Here is another reason why you want them written down.

Because then you can use the "Law of Substitution" and replace all negative thoughts, with your tennis goals.

You can only hold one thought at a time, so this mental law can be very powerful for you.

Visualize Them All The Time.

After you get clear about your goals and also write them down, the next thing you need to do is visualize your goal all the time.

Here is the thing about visualization.

When you first start doing it, all your mental pictures will be unclear and hard to see, but the more you do this, the clearer your pictures will get and the faster you will reach them.

Again, remember that your mind can only hold 1 thought at a time.

You should never waste a thought on anything negative or that will weakened you.

The best way to reach your tennis goals faster is to develop a presence mind and stay focused on your tennis goals, by staying in the moment.

The moment you see your thoughts starts to get negative at anytime, capture them on the spot and replace them with your goals.

Then hold that thought as long as you can.

After you do it, just keep repeating the process.

By consciously doing this everyday, you will start doing it unconsciously at one point and when that happens, you will reach your tennis goal !!
