Do not Forget the Free Attractions in Las Vegas

Many of these tours and attractions are often overlooked because they are not casino related. Do not lose out by missing these fabulous places to visit when you are in Las Vegas. Vegas has much more to offer then just casinos.

The Arts Factory is located in downtown Las Vegas and houses a great variety of artists from architects to graphic designers. Offering a wide variety of products to admire or purchase, the Arts Factory is located in the Vegas art district. Be sure to walk around the art district, there is a large diversity of art to be found in that area.

Lake of Dreams is a must see for anyone visiting Las Vegas. The Lake of Dreams at Wynn is a secluded lake that is surrounded by a forest creating a quiet retreat from the hustle of the main city. It is set up with a superior light show that begins at dark and runs every half hour. There are many vantage points around the lake that you can view the light show from or you may want to enjoy one of the lounges or restaurants located on its shores. The lighting effects present an almost surreal feeling and the calming effect is terrific.

Ethel's Chocolate Lounge and Cactus Garden are a must for any chocolate lover. You are welcome to come and enjoy a self guided tour through the Ethel Chocolate factory. At the end of the tour you may try free samples of the products produced here. Once there be sure to take the stroll through the Cactus Botanical Gardens. The largest garden of its type the Cactus garden is home to over three hundred types of cactus, most originating from the US south west and also includes desert trees and shrubs from the United States and from around the world. Beautifully set like an English garden you will find yourself amazed at how truly beautiful a cactus can be.

Many of the hotels offer free exhibits or attractions. The Gold Nugget is home to the second largest gold nugget ever found. Found in Australia with a simple metal detector, the spectacular nugget is now on display at the hotel. The Bellagio, just past their main lobby, has a beautiful conservatory and botanical gardens. It can only be described as beautiful and colorful. It is open twenty four hours so you are not limited to when you can visit. The Bellagio also is famous for their fountains. With over a thousand fountains performing to music you may find your own go into a daze sitting and watching them.

When you are away from the gaming tables be sure you experience the other side of Las Vegas. There are so many shops, attractions, gardens and museums available that your vacation experience can be more then just gaming. Many of these attractions are free making visiting them all the more temptation.
