One of the hardest decisions you'll ever make about your trip to Vegas is your choice of hotel. If you're traveling with children, an obvious choice would be the Excalibur Las Vegas. It's a giant complex designed to look like a medieval castle, complete with various colorful peaks of blue and orange.

But you do not have to be a kid to enjoy all of what the Excalibur offers. It may cater to families, but adults have plenty of fun there too. The Excalibur is a resort the whole family will love.

When the Excalibur Las Vegas opened in 1990, it was one of the most distinct properties on the strip. Some floors are set aside for youngger guests where court jesters entertain and gambling is not permitted. But if casinos are your thing, you do not have to worry as the Excalibur boasts a large and active casino that is as distinct inside as the complex is from the outside.

Kids love the medieval castle look and can not wait to tell all their friends about this one-of-a-kind adventure once they get back home. Major attractions for children include a midway, complete with carnival games and the SpongeBob SquarePants special effects ride.

For the adults, the Castle Walk offers up a collection of distinct shops and kiosks designed to capture the experience of visiting a medieval bazaar. There's even a $ 10 store here offering jewelery, handbags, men's accessories and more - all at the low price of just $ 10 each. At these prices, it's easy to treat everyone to a little Vegas shopping.

As different as these attractions are, the Excalibur also offer traditional attractions like a multitude of restaurants. Current entertainment available includes the comedy act of Louie Anderson, the Tournament of Kings dinner and show, live music and more.

Staying at the Excalibur Las Vegas is an experience in itself and it's something your kids will remember and cherish for a long time. Before you book, take a good look at the castle. Your kids will thank you and you'll have a blast too.
