Planning a trip to Lake Tahoe? Whether you are staying on the North or South shore, lets get you there.

Flying:
If you plan on flying, the North and South shore is only a 45-minute drive from Reno/Tahoe International Airport, 2001 East Plumb Lane, Reno, NV 89502 (775-328-6400).

Driving:

Driving From Reno:
From Reno/Tahoe International Airport, Head north take a slight left toward Plumb Lane. Continue straight onto Plumb Lane. Turn left at Matley Lane. Merge onto US-395 S via the ramp to Carson City.

To the North Shore:
Exit onto US-395 S toward Carson City. Take the NV-431 W/Mt Rose Hwy, Turn right onto NV-28 W/Tahoe Blvd. Continue onto CA-28 to North Lake Tahoe.

To the South Shore:
Exit onto US-395 S/S Virginia St toward Virginia City/Carson City/So Lake Tahoe. Continue to follow US-395 S. Slight right at N Carson St/US-395 BUS S. Continue onto N Carson St. Slight right toward US-50 W. Continue straight onto US-50 W into South Lake Tahoe.

From Sacramento:

North Shore:
Take the I-80 E for 90 mi. Take exit 188B for CA-89/CA-267 toward Sierraville/Lake Tahoe, Turn right onto CA-267 E. Turn left onto N Lake Blvd. You are now in North Lake Tahoe.

South Shore:
Take Highway 50 East through Placerville and over Echo Summit through the town of Meyers. Continue northeast on the combined road, CA-89 N/US-50 E (go 4.9 mi.) to the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 50/Lake Tahoe Blvd. (Do not turn on Pioneer Trail). Make a right onto Hwy 50/Lake Tahoe Blvd. You are now in South Lake Tahoe.

From Los Angeles:
North Shore: I-5 to the I-80 E. Merge onto CA-267 toward Sierraville/Lake Tahoe, Turn Left onto N Lake Blvd.

Or

Take Hwy 395 N toward Bishop?Adelanto. Merge onto the US-50W. Take the NV-28 towards Lakeshore Blvd and continue onto CA-28W.

South Shore: Take I-5 North to Sacramento
Take Hwy 50 East through Placerville and over Echo Summit through the town of Meyers. Continue northeast on the combined road, CA-89 N/US-50 E (go 4.9 mi.) to the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 50/Lake Tahoe Blvd. (Do not turn on Pioneer Trail). Make a right onto Hwy 50/Lake Tahoe Blvd. You are now in South Lake Tahoe.

Or

Take Hwy 395 North to Minden/Gardnerville

Take Hwy 88 and go left to Centerville Lane to Foothill (Hwy 206)

Turn right to Kingsbury (Hwy 207) to South Shore
